The now-viral video of Roan performing in London on September 21 shows her pointing out between songs that someone in the crowd was taking photos with what appeared to be a clamshell handheld gaming device. In a world where smartphones have professional camera-level fidelity, using a decade-old Nintendo handheld to take photos at a concert seems silly. But I’ve been using a PlayStation Vita as my primary camera device for two years, and I know the appeal of committing to that. The same seems to be true for Ron, as she supported her fans on stage.
“Bitch, is that DS?” Ron asked, then laughed. “You take pictures on the DS all the time, all the time.”
