forward spongebob I was 8 years old when it premiered on Nickelodeon. I still remember the first commercial that aired in a sneak peek of the show after the Kids’ Choice Awards in May 1999. success.

I’m not sure how long it will take spongebob will it last or if it has a future. But 25 years later, spongebob has become a mainstay in pop culture. Created by late great people Stephen Hillenburg For Nickelodeon Animation Studios, the show officially premiered on Nickelodeon on July 17, 1999.

At New York Comic Con 2024, cast and crew gather for 25th anniversary panel moderated by podcast hosts and writers Matt Ford. Panel members include actors Tom Kenny (SpongeBob SquarePants), Bill Fagerbakke (Patrick Starr), Roger Bumpass (Squidward), Clancy Brown (Mr. Krabs), caroline lawrence (Sandy Cheeks), and Mr Lawrence (Plankton) with Executive Producer Mark Ceccarelli and Vincent Waller.

Producers say they want comedy spongebob It feels like the original Monty Python. The actors shared stories about working together, including some interesting antidotes from Brown and Fagerbakke. Brown joked that “they know they’re getting free food,” and Fagerbakke joked that working with Brown, “no one wants free food right now.” shawshank“. Additionally, Messrs. Kenny and Lawrence share their friendship and creative partnership with Hillenburg Rocco’s modern life (Created by: Joe Murray) leads them to devote themselves to spongebob Until Hillenburg’s tragic death in 2018.

The panelists also shared some of their favorite episodes of the series. Kenny’s favorite episode is “The Sailor’s Mouth” In it, he, Fagerbakke and Brown unleash profanity, only to be accompanied by the infamous dolphin sound. He claims the archives for the episode, including the uncensored version, are buried somewhere deep inside Nickelodeon. Fagerbakke’s favorite episode is ““Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy” Because he wants to be with Tim Conway and Ernest Borgnine.

Mr. Lawrence’s favorite episode is “My Legs” He also wrote this episode about one of his recurring minor supporting characters throughout the series, who often yells “My legs!” Brown said his favorite episode was every episode, and everyone agreed their favorite was “Geeks in the Band.”

After this discussion, spongebob The panelists turned to a table reading of the episode’s second act, in which Squidward teaches the Bikini Bottom community how to play in a band, complete with storyboards and animation. They also did a table read of the Halloween episode “Scaredy Pants,” again complete with visual effects.

The cast and producers also reflected on how the show shaped meme culture, and how meme culture shaped them and the show’s development. spongebob Memes are everywhere and the cast and crew are inspired by their creativity. I even created a SpongeBob SquarePants meme using a famous scene from the episode “Rock Bye Bivalve” to highlight the struggle of finding a full-time job in my dream or backup field.

Cast members revealed that three-quarters of the current staff working on the show, spin-offs and movies grew up watching the original Nickelodeon series. As for its future, panelists would like to see spongebob In another 25 years they would live to celebrate their 50th anniversary and participate in their group.

Finally, the team announces holiday specials, renewals patrick star show, etc.
