Catalina Sandino Moreno and Néstor Carbonell join high-profile cast Rest in peaceis a crime thriller starring Ben Affleck and Matt Damon.
Joe Carnahan, action and thriller director, has directed the following films: grey and police shopis taking the helm already featuring Sasha Calle (The Flash) and singer-turned-actress Teyana Taylor were on the call sheet. Production will begin later this month in Miami and Los Angeles.
The film is produced by Artists Equity, an artist-led studio founded by Affleck and Damon. Together with Luciana Damon and Dani Bernfeld, the duo produces work for Artists Equity. Michael Cho and Kevin Halloran are executive producers for Artists Equity.
This crime thriller follows a Miami police team who discover millions of dollars in cash in an abandoned stash house. Things were further complicated by police regulations requiring them to remain at the scene. As trust among the team begins to erode, outside forces learn what is going on with the millions of people in the house. This pressure puts police officers in an impossible, adversarial situation.
Moreno and Carbonell play members of the police force.
