Cat Quest has always been one of gaming’s hidden gems, and with the trilogy launching this week, now is a great time to experience this action-RPG series. Switch owners who want to explore where the feline and canine kingdoms warring can add Cat’s Quest: The Fur Trilogy to their collection October 24. Fur-tastic Trilogy is now available for pre-order on Amazon for $50 and includes all three games on one cartridge.

The Cat Quest games aren’t genre-defining RPGs, but they are cozy little adventures with gorgeous 2.5D graphics that feel like video game comfort food. There’s nothing wrong with a by-the-numbers adventure, especially when it involves some cathartic grind and a lot of Puns surrounding cats and dogs. This small collection includes 2017’s Cat Quest, its 2019 sequel Cat Quest 2, and the newly released Cat Quest 3.
The first two games received positive reviews, and Cat Quest 3 currently has an “overall favorable” Metascore of 81 out of 12 reviews on GameSpot’s sister site Metacritic. It doesn’t present any major problems, but when you’re looking for a game that’s easy to pick up, look no further than the Cat Quest series.
