American Kodansha announced on Tuesday that it will host comic book creators Oshima Shuzo (flower of sin), Yamaguchi Tsubasa (blue period), Makoto Yukimura (Legends of Vinland), and Shirahama Seagull (witch hat studio) in its Kodansha The House pop-up event was held at 45 Grand Street, SoHo, New York City. The event will run from October 4th to October 26th, every Wednesday to Sunday, from 12:00 noon to 9:00pm EST.

The following films will be screened at the event Akira, blue lock, Ghost in the Shelland blame!. It will host events such as those dedicated to attack on titan and Akira Including props, backgrounds, etc. The pop-up will also host a Late Challenge Cup, live discussions, trivia nights, quick networking events, as well as a gallery, café, lounge and comic library.

Kodansha The House is more than just an event, it’s a vibrant gathering place where the world of comics comes alive. Fans will be greeted by a massive comic bookshelf entrance – a gateway to galleries, cafés, lounges and a robust comic library. Kodansha House provides a dynamic space for fans to connect, create and celebrate the stories they love. From interactive exhibits and workshops to date nights and film screenings, this pop-up is the perfect place for comics enthusiasts (new or seasoned) to meet, network, and learn more about the magic of comics.
Oshima will participate in the pop-up event on October 4-5, Yamaguchi on October 11-13, Yukimura on October 18-19, and Shirahama on October 20. Host Q&A sessions and signings. Appointments for all comic creator appearances will open on September 10th.
