How can you get event attendees thinking about creativity and business in new ways?
That’s the mission behind C2, named one of the Best Business Events of 2024 by Skift Meetings.

Beyond comfort zone
C2 2024, held from May 21 to 23 at the Grand Quay in the Port of Montreal, features a series of educational sessions on topics including renewable energy, sustainable architecture and the social impact of technology, as well as performances, masterclasses and Braindates, where attendees shape dialogue.

During these meetings, they can meet other like-minded people who they might not otherwise meet.
“It’s impossible to know exactly what this magic is, but we can increase the number of these connections by designing activities and experiences.
“I think it’s all part of the magic we want to create, and curating or watching what happens behind the scenes is one of our passions.”
The second C—business—comes from new connections. “We designed formats, methods and ways to allow people to meet faster, deeper and more meaningfully,” Beaulieu said. “We believe that by doing this, people actually have a better chance of finding their next business partner or customer.
“At C2, we always say, ‘People do business together, companies don’t do business together.’ “
three pillars
The three pillars of C2 are experience, sustainability and transformative technology.
“These pillars are really the core of what we’re exploring,” Beaulieu said. “They will be critical to the way we think and how the business will evolve over the next few years.”
All in all, the three days of the 2024 event have one theme: experience and immersion, sustainability and innovation, and artificial intelligence and business. These themes are centered around the host city of Montreal.
“Montreal is a very important part of our identity,” Beaulieu said. “It’s a very creative city with some of the best experiential studios. It’s a very dynamic city when it comes to technology, especially artificial intelligence. It’s also a very sustainable city.
It’s this framework that makes C2 attendees feel like they’re part of something special, she said.
“If you’re involved in something that you find meaningful, you’ll be more interested in sharing where you are, taking a photo, or posting on Instagram. So, for us, that’s where we think creativity really correlates with business results. place.
