Yesterday, the official X/Twitter account for director Bong Joon Ho’s upcoming sci-fi film Mickey 17 A brief clip has been uploaded in which a ruthless Robert Pattinson teases the long-awaited trailer for the movie. “What does it feel like to die?” Pattinson’s character is asked when he dies multiple times. The trailer has been released and we are very excited about it.
Mickey 17based on the book by Edward Ashton Mickey 7It follows a man named Mickey Barnes who is tasked with helping colonize an ice planet after being scanned by a machine. The purpose of this mysterious machine is to continually reprint his body until his mission is complete. It wouldn’t be a big deal if Mickey died young due to drowning, freezing, or a zombie buffalo. As long as only one Mickey exists at a time, more Mickeys will appear – a paradox that becomes a problem when the reprint survives his intended termination. What follows is a battle (or a game of rock, paper, scissors) between multiple versions of Mickey to decide who will continue to survive while battling the ice planet’s deadly environment and hostile life forms. in short, Mickey 17 This is a grade-A mystery novel, and a dozen Pattinsons from The Baker will join the upcoming plot.
In addition to Pattinson, the film also stars Steven Yeun, Naomi Ackie, Toni Collette and Mark Ruffalo. On the production side, Mickey 17 Oscar-nominated director of photography Darius Khondji (OK) with Oscar-nominated production designer Fiona Crombie (Cruela), Oscar-nominated editor Yang Jinmo (parasites), costume designer Catherine George (snowpiercer), visual effects supervisor Dan Glass (The Hack) and Jung Jae-il (parasites) provides the film’s soundtrack.
Mickey 17 Originally scheduled for release on March 29, 2024, it was postponed. According to The Hollywood Reporter , Warner Bros. has delayed the film’s release due to production shifts during the SAG-AFTRA strike — though given that it has to compete with Elio, Kung Fu Panda 4, A Quiet Place: Day Oneand Godzilla and King Kong.
