Blake Lively Loves Jason Kelce’s In-Depth Review of Her 2005 Movie Sisterhood of Traveling Pants.
The actress took to her Instagram Story on Friday to share her reaction to the former NFL player’s comments about the coming-of-age film. In a recent episode where he and his brother Travis Kelce new heights In the podcast, Jason couldn’t quite understand the meaning behind the “pants” because they “don’t have much to do with the plot.”
Lively explained that Ann Brashers, the author of the book the film is based on, told her while filming the movie that “she actually added the pants after she had written the book because she had received an add’ Magic Elements’ description.

Lively stars in the Ken Capis-directed film alongside America Ferrera, Amber Tamblyn and Alexis Bledel. They later reprized their roles in the 2008 sequel.
Both Jason and Travis praised Lively’s performance in the film, which also marks her film debut. “She plays Bridget wonderfully,” Jason said, before Travis added, “It may be a little biased, but I think Bridget’s story is the most relatable and interesting.”
The former Philadelphia Eagles player also noted that his wife, Kelly Kelce, criticized him for initially not understanding the symbolism behind the pants.
“Kelly said, ‘You idiot, this is a sign that their friend will always be with them,'” Jason said. “I was like, ‘Oh, okay, that makes sense.’ I think I kind of got the pants. I wanted the pants to be a major part of it. I wanted them to actually have magic in some way. When It’s a bit disappointing when they fail to do that and they’re just a pair of leggings that fit everyone’s body shape.
