    About the beginning (initialization)

Initia is an innovative blockchain project designed to address multi-key fragmentation and simplify decentralized application (DAPP) development. Built on the Cosmos SDK, Initia integrates Layer 1 (L1) and Layer 2 (L2) technologies to create a scalable, interoperable ecosystem called the “interleaved economy.” Its architecture supports multiple virtual machines (MoveVM, WASMVM, EVM) and enables developers to initiate application-specific scrolling, called Minitias, with fast block time (500ms) and high throughput (10,000 TPS).

Supported by major investors such as Binance Labs, Delphi Ventures and Hack VC, Initia has raised more than $24 million to enhance its vision for a unified multi-key network.

The local token $init is the core of the ecosystem and has multiple functions. It covers transaction fees for L1 and L2 and supports accumulation for cybersecurity and rewards. In addition, it promotes governance through voting and provides liquidity through so-called liquidity models.

Initia allocates 5% of its 1 billion cost supply (50 million INITs) to reward early-stage test network participants, community contributors and ecosystem partners. Initia’s Mainnet launch is expected to be launched in 2025, aiming to drive scalability and developer adoption.
