On June 5, 2025, Binance will place the following tokens (BIFI, FIS, KMD and MDT) below under its monitoring tag category. The decision is a response to recent price volatility and abnormal trading patterns that may be associated with market maker activities, prompting exchanges to strengthen scrutiny of these assets.
Four tokens added to Binance’s monitoring tag list
On June 5, 2025, Binance specified the following four token monitoring tag categories:
The name indicates that these tokens will undergo more evaluation. Binance will continuously review the status of each project and can maintain or remove monitoring tags based on its ongoing compliance with listing standards and compliance with the latest project development.

What is a monitoring tag?
Compared to the standard list, monitoring tags are applied to tokens with increased risk levels and more volatile price behavior. These tokens are enhanced surveillance through Binance, which is an ongoing review to assess whether they continue to comply with exchange listing standards.
Users who wish to trade these assets (whether in spot or profit markets) must complete the risk confirmation test every 90 days. Tokens marked as monitoring tags are clearly marked on their individual transaction pages and market overviews, accompanied by visible warnings about the associated risks.
