After that, there are several new releases to check out. We’d do that and then meet around the corner to get the day’s latest sales and a list of discounts that were about to expire. Ready, hold on, go!
Comments and mini views
Time and Galaxy ($19.99)
This game is very clever. It’s very sharply written and certainly novel as far as adventure game settings go. You are just starting your career as a robot reporter for a galactic newspaper called Time and Galaxy. You’re actually the first robot reporter, so… good luck to you. You go out on a mission and gather information by investigating the scene and talking to the people there. You will then use any information you gather to create a story for your paper, and the better your story is, the better it will be for you and your employer.
Each story is like its own vignette, and it’s fun to try to dig up better information and more interesting quotes to use in your articles. Even setting aside what you’re trying to put into your story, it’s enjoyable to try to uncover the truth behind situations that sometimes seem completely different at first glance. Putting your story together is easy, using a handy tool that lets you tailor each part of your story to the information you’ve gathered. The game shows you exactly what each choice does, so you can easily shape Age and Galaxy into the media pipeline you want. With great power comes great responsibility. The presentation is charming and the writing quality is exactly what a game like this needs.
The worst thing you can say Time and Galaxy The thing about it is that its mechanics are very consistent, which means it depends on the writing resonating with you to keep your interest. I wouldn’t say every scene had me hooked on the Joy-Con, but I think overall it’s worth a look for those looking for an unorthodox adventure game. I had a lot of fun with it and I think its basic loop has a nice feature. If you like the sound of its premise and are in the mood for some silliness, you’ll want your nearest newspaperman to…er, electronic storeand obtain a copy.

Beyond Good and Evil 20th Anniversary Edition ($19.99)
I was on the front lines watching this bad game die. Exactly why is beyond my pay grade; the reviews were great, and the few people who played the game seemed to enjoy it. But within a few weeks, we had a $29.99 price tag slapped on the $59.99 price tag. That’s when I tried the game, and to be honest, it didn’t impress me the way others did. Fashionable, yes. Of course, the pacing is great. It’s a good game, but I’ve personally never been saddened by the lack of a follow-up. Of course, that’s just me. I know how important this is to other people and I want them to get what they want.
An encouraging step towards this goal is a beautiful remaster of the original game. Beyond Good and Evil 20th Anniversary Edition Brought some graphical polish to the game, had a new soundtrack recording, and added some useful quality-of-life features such as auto-save. Otherwise, this is what the game is meant to be. As a classic game, it holds up well, and it’s easy to see why so many people saw something special in it. You’re always doing something new or interesting, and the world-building is really solid. Plus, there’s photography! Everyone loves video game photography. what can I say? This is a game from a previous era of Ubisoft, before it really hit its annual duck mark, and its games have some differences from games from this period.
Mikhail also played Beyond Good and Evil 20th Anniversary Edition On Switch and PS5. While there is no shortage of information on platform differences, one aspect he wanted to highlight was cross-processing. You’ll usually get some in-game rewards when you log into Ubisoft Connect in the publisher’s games, but the addition of cross-progression across all consoles and PC is outstanding. when i play Beyond Good and Evil 20th Anniversary Edition Only on Switch, he likes to play games on PS5 at home and then pick up his save files on Switch to play on the go. It works perfectly here, just like in Assassin’s Creed Phantoms He played the game on PS5 and iPhone 15 Pro.
Beyond Good and Evil 20th Anniversary Edition is a great way to play this beloved classic, especially for those who want a portable option. While you’ll get smoother frame rates on other platforms, this Switch version isn’t ugly by any means. These improvements are welcome but not overwhelming, making the game easy to pick up despite its age. If you haven’t played it before, it’s worth giving it a try. who knows? You might join people calling for a sequel. If you’ve played this game before, I’m sure I don’t need to bother convincing you of the benefits of a return trip.

Chia seeds ($29.99)
I will say at least this much about Tchia: its highs are very, very high. It’s truly mesmerizing when it showcases its New Caledonian-style setting or the unique culture of its creators. I love that it’s willing to let some moments simmer and really sink in. It’s fun to solve some of its tricks when you first encounter them. It’s also surprisingly polished for the size of the game and the size of the development team.
Sometimes I’m not happy about it. Combat isn’t a huge part of the game, but it gets old quickly. In general, enemy encounters don’t offer enough variety in options to keep them interesting. The islands you explore are incredibly beautiful, but there’s not enough motivation to fully explore them other than your own curiosity. I don’t like how cumbersome it is to control the boat. The story isn’t nearly as perfect as the world-building. There are some technical issues here and there that I think are Switch issues.
But I’m not sure how important that is. goodbye Sometimes it tricks you into thinking it’s a bigger game than it actually is. But with the scale and interactivity of its world, this feels like a very personal game. As I play this game, soaking in everything it has to offer, it makes me think about how lucky we are to have video games. Each of us can only live one life, and we can never truly know what another life will be like. But through video games, we can share our lives and temporarily bring others into our world. This is how I feel about playing games goodbye. All of this is unfamiliar to me, but I can feel the creator’s passion for his home in every detail. brilliant.
goodbye It makes sense. I don’t think it’s the most complete and fleshed out open world game by any means, but I don’t think that’s its priority either. It’s a window into the place, the lived experience and the culture that the people behind it know. Despite some noticeable visual flaws at times, this Switch port performs well enough. Don’t come here looking for Pacific Island views breath of the wild, because it’s not like that, even though it’s similar at times. it is goodbye. This is good.

Battle Cats unite! ($19.99)
Do you like using weirdly drawn cats for base defense? This is base defense with strangely drawn cats. You may have seen this series on mobile or other platforms. It would be nice if things like this went well. There are over three hundred and fifty different species of cats to collect. And more than 300 levels are waiting to be challenged. There are also mini-games to keep things interesting. Oh, and you can play with other players via local multiplayer or local Wi-Fi. This game has no in-app purchases, so you can easily enjoy the experience without worrying about your wallet.
Utah Games Gift ($4.99)
It’s a nice little thing. This is a series of games created by graduate students in the University of Utah’s Entertainment Arts and Engineering master’s program and spans several different genres. Supposedly you’re helping current and future students by picking this up and playing with it, which isn’t the worst way to spend five bucks.

(North American e-store, US prices)
The other inbox had a lot of good games, but no sales that I was particularly excited about. The same goes for outboxes. Just one of those days I guess? I’m sure we’ll see some cooler sales in a few days, so don’t worry too much.
