In a live broadcast this Monday morning, Apple launched a number of new products from Apple Watch Series 10 to iPhone 16.
Pre-orders for the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro don’t start until Friday, September 13. A model with ANC is only $130.

Voice Isolation eliminates background noise from anyone you’re talking to, so if you’re walking through a busy crowd with loud music playing around you, the person you’re talking to will only hear your voice.
With the support of the H2 chip, the audio quality of AirPods has been improved, using a new acoustic architecture to achieve rich bass and clear treble.
One interesting new addition is how AirPods interact with Siri. You can nod “yes” or shake your head “no” to respond to Siri notifications without looking like a weirdo on the train.
Changes to the charging box
Apple emphasized during the live broadcast that the charging box now uses USB-C to make it more user-friendly. While it’s certainly more convenient, they just ended up ditching the Lightning port to comply with the EU’s new laws. Still a win for the customer.
The smallest case from Apple yet, this case fits easily into most pockets but still packs in up to 30 hours of total battery life. The case now supports wireless charging and adds a speaker to aid in using the Find My app.
Finally, active noise cancellation
AirPods 4 are Apple’s first open-back headphones that support active noise cancellation. AirPods 4 are available in two versions, one without ANC. Active noise cancellation models also include a transparency mode so you can easily switch back to hearing the world around you.
Adaptive audio automatically reduces noise as the environment changes, so there’s no need to switch modes when moving from quiet areas to noisy areas. Conversation Awareness recognizes when you’re talking to someone face-to-face and can automatically lower your media volume to suit. After the call ends, the volume will return to its previous higher level on its own.
The Apple AirPods 4 are now available for pre-order on Amazon and Best Buy and are set to be released on Friday, September 20.
