After three ridiculous weeks in a row, our top comics will slow down a little for the April 2 list, but it all means we’ve returned to normal. I think there is a scenario where the recent weeks of packaging end up being the standard for 2025 (a good question), given the reason that makes that week so burdens is how much good stuff started. And, in fact, there are some great starts this week, especially from DC Comics.
In the introduction below, I’ve entered two of my favorite DC versions, but I’ve also written about them in this week’s DC Overview column, which will be online tomorrow. This is a very strong start for DC, and it seems likely to continue over the next 9 months. But this is the topic of tomorrow’s column, so make sure to check this. Currently, you can find my five favorite comics below this week…and the usual release list – Enjoy!
The highest comic will be purchased on April 2, 2025
Absolute Green Lantern #1
writer: Al Ewing
artist: Jahnoy Lindsay
letter: Lucas Gattoni
Publisher: DC Comics
No legion…no ring…no willpower, the rest is the absolute green light lantern!
Why it’s cool: and Absolute Green Lantern #1we have obtained the same artistic consciousness comic production of DC’s absolute lines so far, but this time we apply it to the tradition of Green Light and its high concept sci-fi. It’s a great combination, especially when written by Al Ewing, led boldly by Jahnoy Lindsay’s art. As mentioned above, this is a more topic to explore in tomorrow’s column, but another interesting quality of the book is that of all properties that have received absolute treatment so far, Green Lantern has the largest lineup of heroes, making it an unpredictable atmosphere.

Monkey Meat: Summer #2
cartoonist: Juni Ba
Publisher: Image comics
The company brings you a new story! A crazy scientist recovers her girlfriend but must first undergo afterlife treatment. A broken warrior tries to guide the cave glory to make up for his mistakes. Tropical sunshine and regrets! Our two favorite flavors. We might even make them cereals…
Why it’s cool: This title (now in Volume 2) creates an ecosystem of storytelling, and almost anything Juni Ba wants to do feels at home. A short fable? certainly. Nearly meditation on timely questions? let’s do it. Man-made advertising? A mini game? Graphic design is stupid? Everything works Monkey meatand it works well, which makes this title a shoe for the top comics purchased this week on April 2 and one of my favorite titles. Also, as if I haven’t written this article yet (on various sites), BA’s comics are amazing.

Past time 1
writer: Joe Harris
artist: Russell Olson
letter: Carlos M. Mangual
Henry Hayes is probably the best baseball player anyone has ever seen, as long as his dark pain doesn’t stop him from playing during the day. But when Barnstorming Circuit introduced the game’s new novelty (night baseball under bright lights), was his dream finally come true, or would his bloody past catch up with him before he got the chance? From the Midwest fields of the 1920s to the big city lights today, the past was a national small town thriller.
Why it’s cool: I’m a long-time fan of artist Russell Olson Portal City), I think it’s one of the best black comic artists we have. Well, this Joe Harris wrote the mystery of baseball murder, which is a perfect thing. The first problem is home runs (sorry, I just need to do that).
price: $4.99
Plague House #1
writer: Michael Conrad
Artist/Letter: Dave Chisholm
Publisher: They press
Thirteen years ago, Orin McCabe was a family man who lived a privileged life in the suburbs. Today, he was condemned as a death row for murdering his entire family in an unexpectedly cruel way of wielding hammers. After his outrageous crimes, it fell into three eclectic, but dedicated ghost hunter-Jacob, the Saint. Netherlands, skeptics; their leader Del is a true believer to the mystics and the world, directly spys over the home of the abandoned McCabe in search of proving the existence of the undead. . . Any supernatural source may have contributed to McCabe’s inhumane massacre. But this investigator’s mismatch and uneasy squad will find something more terrible than any ordinary spirit. . . .
Why it’s cool: It’s an ensemble cast, The Ghost Hunter Squad Haunted House story, which is brought to life by Dave Chisholm, the most interesting artist in the indie comics (you may remember his other current series when he was aware of his current series. spectrum appears in this space when launched). One thing I like about monthly comics is the routine digging into familiar genre traps, which often leads to people discovering why we like new things and important things about these stories. It’s just a question, but for me Plague House It seems ready to do so.

Resurrection: Quantum Karma #1
writer: RAM V.
artist: Anand RK
Colorist: Mike Spicer
letter: Aditya Bidikar
The resurrected man Mitch Shelley lives thousands of lives, and every accidental death and resurrection brings new superpowers. But after life concluded with nature, Mitch Shelly was awakened by new purposes and powers…save the universe. Following the Resurrections in time to fight against the monsters they created: Gashadokuro – the sadistic World War II Interment-tamp Commander, who inherits a twisted version of Shelley’s power. The lines of cosmic order will begin to blur because no good deeds are impunitive. No matter what the result is, no matter what the result is, it is true… He longs to save you!
Why it’s cool: So starting this week from DC, we will be carrying a familiar superhero character (Absolute green lantern) Although elsewhere in the production line, we delve into a very strange character that brings itself to the treatment of the literary black label. I like the variety in these 2 large publishers, even in books and this book.
