First it was Spotify, then Verizon, then PlayStation, and now it’s apparently Bank of America’s turn to have a glitch this week. On Wednesday, some customers reported problems accessing their bank accounts, with balances showing $0 or “—-” instead of what they should be.

“Earlier today, some mobile and online banking customers experienced issues accessing their account and balance information,” Matt Card, director of media relations for Bank of America, wrote in an email. edge. “These technical issues Completely resolved. We apologize for any inconvenience caused to you.

Reports on DownDetector spiked just before 1pm ET, with people posting on X and Reddit saying their account balances were showing nothing (some mentioned that the amount they owed seemed to be showing up accurately).

As CNN previously reported, we confirmed this afternoon that the bank’s app is showing customers “Account is temporarily unavailable” and “Some accounts and/or balances are temporarily unavailable” notifications. Some people reported that their accounts were down or intermittently accessing their information, and it’s unclear how many people were affected. In July, Bank of America said 58 million customers used its “digital capabilities to help manage their financial lives,” and they connected a record 23.4 billion times last year.

There’s no word yet on what might be causing the issue, but please let us know if this works for you right now.

Updated October 3: Added updated Bank of America statement.
