Ethereum-based gaming protocol B3 has announced the acquisition of US PC maker Andromeda Insights, marking its entry into the hardware space.
In addition to the announcement, B3 reveals its first physical product: B3PC, a desktop computer that takes blockchain users into consideration.
The device includes features such as integrated crypto wallet support and self-destruct mechanisms for secure data deletion. Bookings are now open and are expected to ship in early 2026.
Key Insights
- B3 has acquired PC maker Andromeda Insights to expand into dedicated encryption hardware.
- The B3PC includes a built-in hardware wallet, support for chain gaming, and optional offline mode.
- The self-destructive mechanism allows internal storage to be erased or physically disabled.
- The device is now available for reservations, with shipments scheduled for early 2026.

What is B3PC?
B3PC is a high-performance desktop computer with blockchain-specific features. B3 developed it after acquiring Andromeda Insights, which is tailored for users who participate in chain games and process cryptocurrency data.
The system is equipped with a native hardware wallet integrated into its operating system, providing secure key storage and isolating transaction signatures. The user can also choose to activate the air mode, thereby disconnecting the device from the network access during sensitive operations.
The device is designed to support demanding gaming applications, especially those related to blockchain networks and decentralized ecosystems.

What do we expect from B3PC?
The most unique aspect of B3PC is its self-destructive mechanism for internal storage. The system offers two options: even if the safe digital erase of the power supply is interrupted, digital wipe can be continued, while hardware-level processes can physically damage the driver’s NAND flash chip with high voltage.
The self-destructive function is designed to permanently erase sensitive data, such as private keys, and is protected after physical overlay to prevent accidental activation. Although the drive becomes unusable after triggering the function, the rest of the machine is still available.
Other features include default support for the B3 ecosystem and blockchain-based gaming. The desktop also includes hardware encryption tools and optional offline configurations for increased security.
Interested buyers can retain the B3PC with a deposit of $200 and the shipment is expected to begin in the first quarter of 2026.
