If watching the annual Treehouse of Horror anthology is one of your Halloween traditions, then you should check out series creator Matt Groening’s comic series. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The IDW Collection and The Last Ronin Series
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fans can start or continue their collection of IDW’s long-running comic series, which is about to publish its 300th issue. In addition to the IDW series, you can also pick up The Last Ronin, one of the best graphic novels of 2022 and arguably the best Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles read ever. You could pair The Last Ronin with its 2023 follow-up The Lost Years. Now is an ideal time to read the Last Ronin books, as the next entry in the series, a prequel titled Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Lost Years of the Last Ronin – Cover, will be released on November 19th. Not a graphic novel, but we’re putting Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Ultimate on Visual History’s list below because it qualifies as B2G1 and is just awesome. The book was first published in 2014 and was updated and expanded into a new hardcover edition in July.
Dune Collector’s Edition
The official graphic novel adaptation of Frank Herbert’s first Dune novel is eligible for B2G1 Free. At least part of it. The adaptation is divided into three books, but only the first two are included. But the first two books are really exciting Deluxe Collector’s Editionand both are up for grabs. You can finish the third book in the series: The Prophet for $16 (regularly $26). Frank Herbert’s son Brian Herbert co-wrote the adaptation with Kevin J. Anderson. The two have co-authored multiple “Dune” novels, including the “Dune Prelude” trilogy, and are also currently adapting the works into graphic novels.

Even though Marvel canceled the series before it actually ended, fans of Stephen King’s epic dark fantasy series should still read the adaptation. The Dark Tower: The Beginning Comprehensive Collection It’s especially cool because it’s a prequel to The Gunslinger , the first book in the series. If you don’t have the original novel it is adapted from, Dark Tower 8 set Discounted to $89, and also on the B2G1 free sale.

Godzilla Library Collection
All three volumes from the IDW Godzilla Library Collection are now available. This is a fairly new project, with the first volume hitting shelves in October 2023 and the second volume in April. Volume 3 is much more expensive since it is not discounted, but the reason is that it only Launching in late September.
Absolute Batman and Deluxe Suit
Many wonderful Batman graphic novels and collections are available for purchase, including several recent releases. Batman Home: Year One SetFor example, Nightwing: Year One was published on September 3rd. 》. You can combine the Batman Home Set with Absolute Batman: The Killing Jokeis a beautiful paperback edition of the Joker’s origin story as told by Alan Moore. Multiple other Absolute Batman versions are also featured, including Arkham Asylumreleased by DC Comics in August.
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and Miles Morales
It’s unclear when Spider-Man: Beyond will be released, but there are plenty of cool Spider-Man graphic novels and general reads available in the meantime. Marvel’s Spider-Verse series first launched in 2014, and the best way to get started with the comic book version is with the 648-page comprehensive collection simply titled Spider-Verse. You can pair it with Spider-Gwen: The Ghost Spider Modern Epic Collection and Spider-Man: Across the Multiverse. Many Miles Morales graphic novels are cheap, including Spider-Man: Miles Morales Vol. 1 and straight out of Brooklyn.
Penguin Classic Marvel Series
Penguin Classics released a cool six-book series in 2022 called the Marvel Collection. Each book is approximately 400 pages and collects origin stories and key moments. Many of the comic books in these collections were released in the 1960s, so if you want a (fun) history lesson, these are great and affordable options. The only book not included in B2G1’s free sale is Black Panther, but it sells for $17 in paperback and $26 in hardcover.
Penguin Classics does a great job with vintage cover designs on both hardcovers and more economical paperbacks. You should check out both design themes before choosing, as both versions of The Amazing Spider-Man and X-Men are eligible.
Alan Moore’s Classics
we have already mentioned The killer joke in the Batman section above, but that’s just one of the Alan Moore-written books on B2G1’s free sale. If you haven’t read it yet Moore’s legendary graphic novel “Watchmen” (originally a miniseries), is available for just $14 and is eligible for free B2G1.
