Azuki, an anime-style brand and NFT project, has launched a series of animated shorts designed specifically for social media to bring Azuki’s story to a wider audience, including newcomers to the Azuki universe.
The project will incorporate user-generated content (UGC) into Azuki’s storytelling, inviting holders to participate in the process of creating a more interactive community.
The films will explore the lives and stories of the characters Azuki, Elemental and Beanz.
First video: “Daily Catch”
On Tuesday, Azuki began streaming the mini-short 3DCG animation “Catch of the Day” directed by Genshō Yasuda
The first short video in the series, Daily Capture, introduces Mizuki, Elemental #9195, focusing on her interactions with the Beanz character. Mizuki’s clumsy yet well-intentioned nature leads to humorous results.
This episode sets the tone for the series, showcasing Mizuki’s personality and the world she inhabits. The series is planned to have five episodes, with a second animated short already in development.
