With Metaphor: ReFantazio releasing next week, loyal Atlus fans may already know how they’ll spend their October gaming time. A new IP from the studio behind some of the best role-playing games in recent years is certainly exciting. Atlus has had quite a year thanks to Persona 3: Reloaded and Shin Megami Tensei V: Revengeance. If you haven’t tried out the Persona 3 remake and the heavily expanded and overhauled SMT V version, you can purchase the PC versions of both games at Fanatical.
The Shin Megami Tensei deal is particularly notable, as both versions are down to their best prices yet. The Digital Deluxe Edition offer is a 48-hour Fanatical Star Deal, which means the number of keys is limited. The deal ends on Friday, October 4 at 8 a.m. PT/11 a.m. ET.
At the same time, the digital premium version of Persona 3 Reload is discounted by nearly 50%. You can also save on a PC pre-order of Metaphor: ReFantazio, including the 35th Anniversary Edition, which includes two digital art books, two digital soundtracks, and additional DLC. Note: Amazon restocked the Metaphor: ReFantazio Collector’s Edition for PS5 and Xbox on October 2.
Shin Megami Tensei and Persona Game Deals (PC)

Originally a Nintendo Switch exclusive, the game has since brought this fantastic turn-based RPG to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Set in a Tokyo devastated by countless demons, this stylish adventure lets you explore the wasteland of the metropolis in a dramatic tale of revenge. While you have the power to fight the Kadistu and their dark machinations, you can improve your odds by recruiting demons to your side. It’s kind of like Pokemon, but more apocalyptic. This version of the game is also the defining one, as it introduces many tweaks, changes, and quality-of-life updates to make it look, play, and feel even better.
The Digital Deluxe Edition is usually $10 more than the standard edition, but Fanatical’s deal brings the difference down to $5. It contains quite a bit of extra content to help you when you start the game and extra quests:

The Switch steelbook version costs $46 on Amazon, but if you don’t want a fancy case with eye-catching artwork, you can buy the regular version for $41. The standard physical version is only $40 on Xbox Series

If you plan to play the PS5 or Xbox Series X version of Metaphor: ReFantazio, there are no discounts until launch. However, Amazon and Walmart recently restocked a collector’s edition of Metaphor: ReFantazio, which has been hard to find. As of this writing, the PS5 version is only available on Amazon and Walmart, and sold out within hours on October 2.
