Astro’s Playroom is coming soon, which also means the special edition Astro Bot PS5 controller will be in your hands soon too – if you can find it. Astro Bot’s limited-edition DualSense controller has been hard to find since pre-orders began on August 9. Same-day pre-orders are selling out quickly, although restocks have been ramping up over the past week and are currently Available for pre-order at Walmart. Astro Bot and its special edition controller were released on September 6th.
Antonline launched an Astro Bot bundle earlier this week that included the controller and a physical copy of the game for a discounted price of $7, but the bundle has once again sold out.
Pre-orders for the Astro Bot PS5 controller are already sold out at all major retailers except Walmart. That said, we recommend checking each retailer’s listings, as restocks at Best Buy, Walmart, Amazon, Target, GameStop, Antonline, and PlayStation Direct have been dropping without notice.

In addition to its white and blue design, the Astro Bot controller comes with a variety of features and a pair of beady eyes staring at you from the trackpad.
While it may have a striking new design, this is your standard DualSense. That means you won’t get a back button or customizable elements like you do on the DualSense Edge, but it has all the features that make the DualSense such a cool controller: haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, and a built-in microphone.
Pre-orders for the controller aren’t available until August 9, but the Astro Bot game is available for pre-order now. Pre-order your copy early and you’ll get some cool freebies, including a bunch of in-game goodies and a cute physical poster for your game room.
The Astro Bot Limited Edition DualSense follows the Concord Limited Edition DualSense. Based on the shooter of the same name, it gives you a black gamepad with red and blue stripes adorning the entire front panel. Like the upcoming Astro Bot controller, this one will only be available for a limited time.
