Visit Atlantic City President and CEO Larry Sieg plans to retire at the end of 2024.
Seager has led the destination through its post-pandemic recovery. Additionally, he will oversee the organization’s rebrand from Meet AC to Visit Atlantic City in 2023.
Musich aims to solidify the leisure and group brand while uniting the city’s economic development community.
A successful summer in Atlantic City
The destination hosted 24 events, conferences and conferences during the summer with particular success. According to Visit Atlantic City, they provided 31,131 room nights and 80,984 attendees.
The fall will also be busy, with conferences planned including Fetch Coastal, the Atlantic City Marathon and Half Marathon and the Triple Play Realtors Conference and Trade Expo.
Musich said the city has more tentative business booked through 2031 than ever before. “The pace has accelerated further,” he said.
Second-tier cities continue to surge in popularity, and AC is benefiting from it. “There are definitely more opportunities in smaller cities,” Music said.

Destination investment US$900 million
The city’s nine casino resorts have invested $900 million in their products over the past two years. The project includes a $55 million renovation and rebranding of The Water Club tower next to the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa. The Aqua Club has been renamed the MGM Tower.
Caesars has invested more than $400 million in three Atlantic City properties: Caesars Hotels and Casinos, Harrah’s and Tropicana. That includes a $240 million renovation of Caesars Atlantic City Hotel & Casino. This includes the addition of Nobu Hotel Atlantic City, an 80-room boutique hotel.
