An interesting report about Marvel has surfaced Avengers: Doomsday as Elizabeth OlsonScarlet Witch aka Wanda Maximoff may be Robert Downey Jr.Doctor Doom’s lover in the story.
The news comes from Hollywood exclusive My Time To Shine Hello, who says Olsen’s Wanda may have a bigger impact in Avengers: Endgame.
The scoop then mentions that “Wanda will be a major character in both Avengers movies,” and that “[She] Will share a lot of screen time with RDJ in Doom (as his love interest?)”
This would give these characters a very strange and interesting direction. It’s just a big rumor at the moment, but it’s sure to get a lot of fans talking.
It is also pointed out in the comics Avengers: Children’s CrusadeDoctor Doom and Wanda Maximoff become allies in their quest for power.
However, another report from Comic Basics refutes this claim, stating that a romantic relationship between Doctor Doom and Wanda Maximoff is highly unlikely as Doctor Doom is not part of the main Marvel Universe timeline.
There’s also the fact that Wanda is in love with Vision. However, all of this could be explained by a different variation of Wanda from another corner of the multiverse.
