Arc Raiders, the coolest game from The Game Awards 2021, may finally come out in 2025

Remember Arc Raiders? It debuted during The Game Awards 2021, immediately attracted a lot of attention… and then disappeared.

But today, it suddenly surfaced again, showing a very cool trailer, which once again aroused people’s discussion. At Gamescom’s opening night, a trailer revealed that the game is still in development hell and will be coming to PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC next year. Theoretically speaking.

I’ve written a lot about this game in the past, and everything I loved about it then still looks cool now – and it’s even got some graphical upgrades.

Arc Raiders will be the first game from Embark Studios, a new company founded by former EA executive Patrick Soderlund, and will see players defend Earth against a mysterious force descending on it from outer space. Mechanized threats. It will be a free-to-play co-op game targeting release on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. This is true in 2021 and remains true with the game’s new release date in 2025.
