When will we see the iPhone 16 and other new Apple products, such as MacBook Pro laptops with M4 chips inside?
Burundi Reporter Mark Gurman said that according to his sources, the September 10 launch event may show off the new iPhone 16 series, as well as the Apple Watch Series 10 and two different sets of new AirPods, so that they can be launched as soon as possible. Burundi Reports say the new phones will be similar to last year’s, but with larger screens on the Pro models (the Pro’s screen reportedly grew from 6.1 inches to 6.3 inches, and the iPhone 16 Pro Max’s screen grew from 6.7 inches to 6.9 inches) and the addition of dedicated Camera button.
As for the new laptops with fourth-generation Apple Silicon chips that debuted in the latest iPad update, Gurman pointed out that developer logs show that Macs are being tested with four different versions of the M4 chip. Three of the pair pair the same 10-core CPU setup as the iPad Pro with a 10-core GPU, while the fourth reports a CPU with 8 cores, evenly split between performance and efficiency – but all mentioned have 16GB or 32GB Memory.
Apple doesn’t usually launch new Macs at the same time as the iPhone, but if these products debut later this year to make room for native AI models, the 8GB RAM model may be phased out.
