Cartoon Co-operative Announces Micro Award 2025 Nominees in the categories of novels, non-fiction, horror, science fiction, fantasy, romance and humor.
The 20025 mini award ceremony is Barbara Ben,,,,, Asanti Fordson,,,,, Murakami teeth,,,,, Cam Marshall,,,,, Evan Dum,,,,, Good Arpadand Madeline McGrane. The award ceremony will be live streaming May 1, 2025, 7:00 pm to 8:00 PM EDT host Celebrity Prichard.
“Minicomic Awards is an annual showcase founded by cartoonists Leslie hangs andSloane To focus on unique, challenging and underrated short form comics. For most cartoonists, microenzyme is the form in which they begin to develop storytelling skills, and where they return to experiments and further advance their techniques, sounds and media. Their accessibility also means we get bounties for incredible unique works from a variety of genres and marginalized perspectives.
The Cartoonist Cooperative is happy to continue this year’s tradition! As the organization grows, our number of categories has increased by three this year and we are now able to further help spread the awards. ”
The awards ceremony is part of the Nib & Ink Festival, an online comics event throughout May.
“Nib & Ink Festival (or NIF) is a brand new online-only comic festival that takes place from May 1-31, 2025. NIF will have a custom-made store for exhibitors to sell digital comics, print magazines at home, free curated webcomic samples, streaming panels for each weekend, and we can create a unique territory throughout our weekend! Read new comics to learn more about the medium they like and connect with like-minded people.”
