Mocaverse, a division of Animoca Brands, announced a partnership with the MOCA Foundation and the Open Network (TON) Foundation to implement identity and reputation-based consumer networking within the Moca Network and TON blockchain ecosystem.
The plan includes integrating Mocaverse’s decentralized identification code (DID) Moca ID with TON Society ID to promote user interaction and growth by allowing users to express their identity and value on the chain.
To support this effort, the MOCA Foundation and the TON Foundation have signed a token swap agreement involving the exchange of Moca Coin ($MOCA) worth $0.113, with a fully diluted valuation (FDV) of $1 billion, into Toncoin ($TON), with a total value of $20 million.
Support initiatives that promote ecosystem growth
The partnership will leverage Realm Network, Mocaverse’s SDK products and Telegram Mini application platform to promote consumer growth.
“The unique partnership between Telegram and the TON Foundation and the collaboration announced today provides the opportunity to bring Moca ID and Realm Network SDK to Telegram’s 900 million users, which we believe can exponentially amplify our respective network effects, ” commented Yat Siu, Executive Chairman and Co-Founder of Animoca Brands.
Realm Network SDK will be integrated into the TON blockchain and serve as a central reputation source to facilitate data login, certification and query for various TON ecosystem applications, focusing on areas such as social casual games, sports and IP experiences. In addition, the partners plan to launch co-branded hackathons and accelerator programs to support developers in both ecosystems.
“The reputation system we co-create will become a powerful opt-in platform through which users can express their identity and values on-chain,” said Steve Yun, Chairman of the TON Foundation Board of Directors.
