anime new york Based on ticket sales ahead of the 3-day event from August 23 to 25, attendance in 2024 is expected to exceed approximately 100,000 people. The 3-day pass and AnimeNYC+ tickets sold out within a day of going live on the digital store. It was a very fulfilling weekend American Comics Awards Before then, there were many announcements, panels, guests, and exhibitors at the Javits Center.
So it’s no surprise that with the massive attendance and success of the 2024 event, Anime NYC will be letting the world know on their X/Twitter that the New York-based anime convention will be expanding from its usual 3 days to 4. These days are from August 21st to 24th, and the time on Thursday is from 4 to 8 pm. The first day of the event is only 4 hours. There will also be special programs on the main stage to make the day even more “epic” for those willing to participate.
