Crispy roll North American release announced Thursday Overlord: Holy Kingdom (Theatrical version of Overlord Holy Kingdom Chapter), new film project Overlord The animation will premiere on November 8th.
Crispy roll The film will screen in North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America.
The film will be released regularly in Japan on September 20, but will begin IMAX screenings one week earlier, on September 13.
Kadokawa Describes the story of the movie:
Under the leadership of the Holy Queen Kalka, the Holy Kingdom of Robert enjoys an era of peace under the protection of the Great Wall. However, this peace was easily destroyed by the sudden appearance of Demon King Jaldabaoth and the attack of the Human Alliance. Although Remedios, leader of the Holy Knights of Robert’s Holy Kingdom, and High Priest Kyrat mobilized their forces to fight back, they were unable to overcome Jaldabaoth’s overwhelming strength gap, and the kingdom was on the verge of collapse. Remedios took her knights and subordinate Neia to a certain kingdom, hoping to gain the power to fight Jaldabaoth. The name of that kingdom is the Sorcerous Kingdom Ains Ooal Gown. This is a strange country ruled by the undead and despised by the people of the Holy Kingdom——
The film’s four new cast members include:
Naoyuki Ito Come back and direct this movie madhouseis also credited as a screenwriter and composer. Yukie Sugawara is returning to the film and is credited with co-writing the script. Tasaki Satoshi Will also serve as character designer and lead animation director. Wu Wenzhi Returns as sound director slot promotion. Katayama Shuji of Team-MAX Returning to making music Kadokawa. Returning actors include Satoshi Hino As Ains, Yumi Hara as albert, and Kato Masayuki As Demiurge.
The film project was first announced during the 2021 Animation Live special.
