I have a great trailer here for you to watch for the upcoming Native American animated film called Coyote Four Soulslooks like a beautifully made movie.
The description of the film goes like this: “We are slowly destroying the Earth because we humans think we are special. The indigenous people have always known that we are only a small part of creation.
This story is about “our shared responsibility to each other and the planet.” Set in the present day, Native American protesters confront workers on an oil pipeline project located beneath the mountains of their ancestral lands.
“Grandfathers evoke the ancient stories of their creation myths, reminding us all that the challenges facing humanity are universal and that we need to find our place in the great biosphere.”
The director of this film is Aaron Gold“,” he shared in a statement: “The film pays homage to the wisdom of a humiliated and downtrodden nation.” Coyote Four Souls This is an alternative, gentler creation myth in which human beings are neither the apex creature of nature nor the king of the world, but just one of all creatures.
“Surprisingly, these ancient myths describe the interrelationships of the world in a very similar way to modern scientific results. The former represent the only alternative to capitalist society… Native Americans once said, ‘As long as the grass grows'” , they mean eternity.
“They don’t know that it may be threatened in the future. The Earth has tolerated everything so far, but its power is rapidly weakening. We can only save it together.
movie star cardinal lorne, Danny Kramer, John Eric Bentley, Clay Bennett, Priscilla Landhamand Stephanie Novak.
