Amazon-MGM Studios releases trailer for its inspirational biographical wrestling drama unstoppablewhich star jennifer lopez and Jarrell Jerome. This really looks like a great movie! I love inspirational sports dramas and I’m looking forward to watching them!
Unstoppable tells the true story of Anthony Robles (Jerome), “who was born with only one leg, but whose indomitable spirit and unbreakable determination allowed him to overcome obstacles and pursue his dreams.
“With the unwavering love and support of his devoted mother Judy (Lopez) and the encouragement of his coaches, Anthony overcame adversity to earn a spot on the Arizona State wrestling team.”
The film is directed by Oscar winner Argo edit William Goldenbergwhich is his directorial debut. He was also involved in projects such as imitation game, zero dark thirty, sea biscuit and insider. This movie also stars Bobby Cannavale, Michael Pena and Don Cheadle.
This movie is based on the book Unstoppable: From Loser to Undefeated: How I Became a Championthe script is adapted from Eric Championra, Alex Harris and John Hindman.
Robles, the protagonist of the story, also appears in the film and is known as the “Anthony Robles double”, performing wrestling moves and stunts. He is also the film’s producer.
The film will be released in select theaters on December 6, before arriving on Prime Video on January 16, 2025.
