Women of toys, licensing and entertainment (WIT) continue to grow their network by declaring key developments in their leadership. WIT will have four newly appointed members and will continue to enhance women’s capabilities in the toy industry and fuel growth and innovation in global markets.

WIT welcomes Angelina Castro and Janice Ross to their respective leadership roles. Former interim executive director Castro will take on the title of executive director and continue the task of driving wit by strengthening the organization’s initiatives. Ross, a newly appointed business development consultant, will be responsible for building partnerships and ensuring sustainability through a diverse revenue stream.

In addition to staff positions, WIT announced that its board of directors will be promoted by two new members. Kristin Lecour, vice president of consumer products and distribution at 9th tier media group, will be on the second board of directors and will continue to serve as co-chair of the WIT Foundation scholarship committee. Nancy Molenda, vice president of Global Corporate Events and Mattel Philanthropy, is joining the new member while maintaining her as co-chair of the Wonder Woman Awards.
