The remedy does one thing. The studio just announced a partnership with Annapurna Interactive (you know, the ones who publish this Cat game and a few other critically acclaimed indie games) to help fund Control 2. Annapurna will get Alan Wake and Control on TV and movie screens.
As announced in a press release that included at least one joke about Finns being emotionless, Remedy is doing this to ensure that Control 2 becomes the all-singing, all-dancing title its developers intended to deliver.

In boring business terms, the arrangement goes like this: Annapurna becomes a “co-production and co-financing partner” of Control 2, providing 50% of the funding for the game’s development, while also receiving approval to commercialize Control 2 with The “Alan Alan” series “movies, television, etc.” obtain some licensing rights.
Remedy continued to focus on the development of its already ongoing games, but received some additional financial backing and retained the intellectual property rights to Control and Alan Wake.

Meanwhile, Hector Sanchez, who was recently appointed President of Annapurna Interactive and New Media, said of the deal: “We know from experience that Remedy is a premier game development partner, and we’re excited to bring the The universes of Control and Alan Wake are integrated into film, television and beyond.
So, there you have it, Remedy has a new deal with all the usual corporate hype, and in addition to Control 2, the company is also developing a Control multiplayer game codenamed Condor, as well as the first two Max games Payne game remake.
