AFI Fest is ready and ready to launch.
The American Film Institute has announced the full lineup for this month’s film festival, which is scheduled to take place in Los Angeles from October 23 to 27. The lineup includes 6 red carpet premieres, 12 special screenings, 13 luminary selections, 15 discovery films, 12 world cinema, 14 documentaries, 4 late-night films, 54 shorts competition films and 28 AFI Music Academy screening videos are produced by AMC Networks. AFI will pay tribute to Zemeckis on October 24, a free public event that will feature Zemeckis and Hanks in conversation about his career.
