actress and singer Nakayama Miho She was found dead at her home in Tokyo on Friday. The cause of her death is currently under investigation. She is 54 years old.
Nakayama was scheduled to perform at a Christmas concert at Billboard Live in Osaka on Friday, but it was canceled due to health reasons.
Nakayama, born in Saku City, Japan on March 1, 1970, is the younger sister of an actor. Nakayama Shinobi.
She made her debut in the 1985 series Osawa Seshima Island Dance Hall and her film debut as Kyoko Izumi in a live-action film bebop high school Movie. She also sang the theme song for the film. Nakayama released her debut single “C” that same year.
Nakayama won the Best Actress Award for her role in the 1995 film love lettershe was also nominated for a Japanese Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in the 1997 film Tokyo Miwa.
