Aavegotchi has announced that it has completed the conversion of its wearable devices from 2D to 3D ahead of the release of Gotchiverse3D.
The conversion process spans more than 300 wearable devices and a variety of eye shapes and is designed to improve the user experience by providing enhanced visual and functional integration within the Unity platform.
The 3D wearable affects Aavegotchis’ appearance and attributes, including energy and aggression – with exclusive suits providing additional bonuses.
What is Avigochi?
Aavegotchi is a blockchain-based game developed by Pixelcraft Studios in Singapore. It combines elements of DeFi with NFTs. In the game, players use NFTs as avatars that can be staked with interest-bearing tokens and used within the Aavegotchi metaverse.
Aavegotchis are digital characters represented as pixelated ghosts on the Ethereum blockchain, following the ERC-721 standard. Their value is determined by rarity, which is in turn affected by features, staking collateral/aTokens, and equipped wearables.
Players can increase the rarity of Aavegotchi by participating in mini-games, governance, and community activities. The rarity of Aavegotchis affects their market value and the performance of rarity-based mini-games, which reward Aavegotchi ($GHST) tokens.
future plans
There are several key developments planned for Aavegotchi, such as the ability to export 3D Aavegotchis as GLB files, providing greater flexibility in use.
The team is also working on integrating Aavegotchis with virtual and augmented reality environments to enhance its functionality across various Metaverse platforms.
Additionally, the ability to use 3D Aavegotchis during video calls and new animations for rare and mysterious wearables are in development.
