A classic of the horror genre, A Nightmare on Elm Street introduced the world to Freddy Krueger, a serial killer whose face looked like burnt pizza. Wearing his iconic gloves, the twist here is that Krueger had been dead for several years before the movie begins, the notorious Springwood killer being beaten to death by the town mob who sought justice Take it into your own hands. Kruger has made a deal with the demonic forces and will return to Springwood to begin a new reign of terror. Krueger targets the children of his murderers, hunting them down in his dreams, killing them one by one, and inspiring a wickedly cool nursery rhyme in the process.
For this edition, the steel book cover here beautifully showcases new art on the outside and prints screengrabs from the film on the inside.
