When players found out they only had a few days to earn Concord’s platinum trophy, many got to work, but only a few succeeded.
Last week, Firewalk Studios announced the somewhat surprising news that Concord would be shutting down just two weeks after launch. There are only three days left to do so, which means trophy hunters will have to act fast if they want to score one of the coveted platinum trophies. Considering that there is too little time to do such a thing, some players have taken very drastic measures, such as setting themselves on fire to see which team can commit suicide first. These strategies seemed to work for only a handful of people: 69, to be exact.

As spotted by GamesRadar, PlayStation trophy tracking site PSNProfiles shows that only 69 people have managed to obtain this much-sought-after proof that you’ve completed everything the game has to offer. Please note this is not an exact science and the site does not track trophies automatically but it can be tracked manually which means it may actually be a little more than this but for now it is a very interesting number and hopefully will give Bringing some levity to what is often a rather sad situation.
Concord’s hiatus was a direct result of not bringing in enough players, and there were many reasons for that, but that doesn’t mean it didn’t have fans. A group of fans even started a petition calling for the game to be re-released (admittedly, it’s not a completely serious petition), but while it has nearly 2,000 signatures, experts aren’t sure if the game can be Comeback.
Fran reviewed the game on VG247, giving it 3/5 stars and writing “With all the rubbish and confusing business decisions (like not releasing it in PS Plus Extra), this is a Good game, but why do you have to put up with all this? Are you frustrated when the game doesn’t have a unique identity and there are better free alternatives now?
