The Best Comics to Buy for July 31st is a tough one to buy, not because the comics are bad, but because I’m currently on my way back from San Diego Comic-Con…Exhausted. But I persevered, read some comics, and here I am, as always, doling out my usual weekly comic recommendations. You can find them below, along with the usual other lists…enjoy!

Why it’s cool: Saga Returning this week with a new storyline. This is actually the 12th story arc of the book, which is incredibly impressive in this day and age of short runs and limited series. What’s even more impressive is that the book maintained the exact same creative team throughout its entire publication run. Saga Will not be sending review questions ahead of time, but so far this book has been excellent from start to finish. There’s no reason to have any expectations for this new arc.
