It’s a love fest for Channing Tatoo and Ryan Reynolds.
this Magic Mike The star took to Instagram on Monday to share two photos of him and Reynolds at San Diego Comic-Con — one from 10 years ago and one from this weekend. He began his post by recalling that he was a spectator at the convention where Reynolds first saw dead Pool.
“I immediately ran back to the stage and found him and I think I just hugged him and oh my god you did it man,” he wrote in the caption. “It was perfect. I didn’t know him at all at the time. But since then, I can say that there’s almost no one in the industry who’s been more supportive of me than Ryan.”
Tatum makes a cameo Deadpool and Wolverine Playing the superhero Gambit alongside Reynolds, he was originally slated to play the superhero in an independent film, but it was canceled after Disney acquired 21st Century Fox.
"I thought I had lost my resourcefulness forever," blink twice The star continues his post. “But he fought for me and Gambit. I’ll probably owe him my whole life. Because I’m not sure how I can do something that has the same meaning as what this means to me. I love you, man. So does Shawn Levy. Such a talented creator on every level. Everything happens for a reason. I’m so grateful to be in this movie and it’s a pure masterpiece. Happy badass. I literally screamed in the theater!!”
But it didn’t end there.
Reynolds shared Tatum’s post and performed the song on his Instagram Story on Tuesday 21 Jump Street Celebrities also hailed him as not only a “once-in-a-lifetime talent” but a “truly good guy.”
“I know what it’s like to wish a character into existence,” Free man the star wrote. “That’s what Chen did. And then put the most vivid version of the character on the screen, like he was born to play it.
He then joked about Tatum wearing the same shirt at both conventions they attended together: “We shared two San Diego Comic-Cons together. The best two days of my life happened when @ChanningTatum wore this shirt time. Is it a coincidence or a conspiracy?
