Sony seems to have managed to leak a new feature coming to PlayStation Plus Premium, and it’s Clank.
As originally spotted by @realradec on X, and now confirmed by multiple others who received the email, Sony sent out a mass email promoting new content in its catalog of games.
Email complete. They’ve only mentioned Agent Clank once, but I think it’s almost certainly going to be a part of the service at some point. Hopefully sooner rather than later pic.twitter.com/kz55YohEwU

The email contains content we already know about, such as Remnant 2, Summoner, and Jeanne d’Arc, but interestingly, the email also mentions Secret Agent Clank.
Of course, July did add a Ratchet & Clank game to the PlayStation Plus Premium lineup in the form of Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters, so the obvious question is: does the person who wrote this email feel Puzzled Which Will the Ratchet & Clank game be released this month? If so, can we safely speculate that Agent Clank might arrive in August?
As for @realradec, they don’t have a great reputation for this kind of thing, but others on Reddit have mentioned receiving the same email with the same information, so the email itself appears to be legitimate.
Of course, it’s possible that this was a weird mistake, and the author of the email just got confused and typed in the wrong Ratchet and Clank without thinking, and secret agent Clank wouldn’t show up. These things can happen. But personally, I think it could be because Agent Clank is waiting in the wings.
Secret Agent Clank was originally a PSP game, but was ported to PS2 in 2008. a good choice.
Oddly, the mainline Ratchet & Clank game wasn’t included in PS Plus Premium first. This is likely due to the way Insomniac used the PlayStation 2’s architecture to build the game, taking advantage of everything they could, including bugs. However, PCSX2, a project aimed at emulating PS2 games on PC, has made huge strides in emulating R&C games.
