Warning: Spoilers for The Witcher 3: Hearts of Stone.
You may disagree, but to me, the title of the scariest thing you’ll encounter in The Witcher 3 is Gaunter O’Dimm from the Hearts of Stone expansion. Granted, he’s far less in your face than the many monsters and enemies Geralt faces, but he’s potentially the most evil and powerful. Anyway, there’s now a mod that lets him wear some swimming gear.
Yes, if you’ve ever been a little unnerved by the old Mirror Master’s ability to pause time, cause shipwrecks in an instant, and recall the secret to making the perfect gingerbread, that’s okay, you can now put some armbands on him to ease the stress. Eerie. Or might this add to it? Honestly, it’s hard for me to decide.

Without further ado, let me first introduce modder Dragoncat2129’s “Gaunter O’Dimm Pool Party Outfit”.
As they explain in a very succinct description (we’re assuming they have a swimming pool to jump in themselves), the mod keeps Odim’s usual businessman clothes in the locker and the swimming trunks he wears as underwear Paired with an orange armband, some flippers and a rubber hoop with a pretty watermelon design. Just place the showcase video under your watch and soak it all up.

To provide some context, this mod, which turns the Glass Man into a man fit for lounging on the beach with a porn star martini by his side, was created as an entry in the REDkit modding contest that CD Projekt is currently running And created. Basically, people have until July 30th to create an alternative summer look for any character in the game. So, yes, the actual studio that made The Witcher 3 is technically responsible for this state of affairs.
I’m sorry, but the other modders clearly put a lot of work into making custom dresses for Ciri and Yennefer, and they’re going to have to compete with the esoteric O’Dimm, but depending on who’s judging, I think you’re probably going to lose already.
Regardless of who ends up coming out on top in this game, I think we can all agree that this is REDkit’s most important The Witcher 3 mod to date, and I’ve included those mods that resurrected cut content and ported it over in this assertion to be one of the more important mods in the series. Area for early entry.
