After Marvel Studios announced and confirmed the cast of Fantastic Four in February, the latest film from Marvel’s First Family has a new title. Marvel announced during a presentation in Hall H at Marvel Comic-Con that the film will now be called Fantastic Four: The First Step .
Since the film was shot in late July, there were no lenses, but retro-style scientific films produced by the Future Foundation were presented to the audience. In the film, Mr. Fantastic (played by Pedro Pascal) hosts a science show called “Amazing Science.” We see the crew in a jet engine explosion, as well as Richards and Ben Green (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) preparing for space travel.
They are treated like celebrities and even own flying cars and see them go into space. Finally, we see Devourer’s eyes peering out of the window. The film was officially previewed during Marvel’s Hall H presentation in 2022, with only the logo at the end of the panel.
Galactus will be voiced by Ralph Ineson and Silver Glider will be played by Ozarks star Julia Garner. Actor John Malkovich will also star, but his role has not yet been announced.
“Fantastic Four: The First Step” stars Peska, Moss-Bachlach, Ineson and Garner, with Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm and Joseph Quinn as her brother Johnny.
“Fantastic Four: The First Step” is scheduled to be released on July 25, 2025.
