Desert traders in Stardew Valley can be found in the Calico Desert. They offer a range of different items, many of which cannot be purchased from any other supplier. The problem here is that the desert merchants aren’t interested in your money, so you have to trade other items for their wares, and the asking price changes for each item.

Desert Trader is located in the Calico Desert, just east of where you drop off, and they are open all day every day except during the night market from the 15th to the 17th in the winter. In order to reach Calico Desert, you need to repair the bus, which can be done in two ways. If you pursue the Community Center path, you’ll need to complete the Vault, which requires four donations totaling 42,500G. If you take the Joja Mart route, it will cost 40,000G to repair the car.

After the bus is repaired, you can go to Calico Desert at any time to see the desert merchant. The ticket price is 500G. The Desert Merchant’s inventory is divided into two categories: permanent items and rotating inventory, with ladders that change based on the day of the week.
