Jada had some fun additions to their booth today, including an E. Honda, a Snake Man from the Mega Man game, and a Ghost Crawler from Scooby-Doo.
Early Scooby-Doo “Where Are You?” The show is one of my favorite aspects, so I’m glad there’s a villain in it. I can’t wait to see who’s next as they totally nailed the crawler vibe and the articulation makes it easy to hit his crouching/slouching crawler.
Look, I’ve never played a Mega Man game in my life, but when I played with Veebs at SDCC, it was hard not to be captivated by Veebs’ passion for the line. I do have the first Mega Man and he’s a very interesting character, but I haven’t expanded from there yet. They certainly look impressive in a group like this. The snake man wears a helmet shaped like a snake’s mouth, and the snake’s tail hangs down on his back. Since he is positioned very high and close to his back, it is difficult to see him on the monitor.
We’re even closer to Honda’s full lineup. Now all you need is Zangief and Akuma. The Honda looks impressive, although I imagine the skirt might restrict him from squatting as much as you’d like, but damn, they look impressive in a group!
