Star Wars Fans were in for a treat at San Diego Comic-Con 2024.Star Wars“Stories from a Galaxy Far Far Away” panel showcased a slew of new High Republic-based books and comics set to be released in 2024 and 2025, with Hasbro also showing off a new addition to its line of Black Series figures: Jedi Master Vernestra Rwoh.
Earlier this year, Vernestra jumped from page to screen in the Disney+ series Star Wars: Acolyteperformed by Rebecca Henderson. The character first appeared in a 2021 middle school novel Star Wars: The High Republic – A Test of Courage go through Justina Ireland, even though Henderson’s version of the character is much older and has experienced more life. Last time we saw Vernestra Star Wars: AcolyteAfterwards, she presented her findings to the High Council and briefly spoke with Mae Aniseya about the past and future (Amandla Steinberg). Some of those hours will be documented in next year’s book Star Wars: Acolyte – Wayseekeralso written in Ireland.

The Hasbro Black Series Vernestra figure will be available for pre-order via Hasbro Pulse and participating retailers starting Saturday, July 27 at 5pm ET for $24.99. The figure is expected to be released in spring 2025.
