We’ve got an exclusive clip from Season 1, Episode 7 of Cocaine Hotel for everyone who spent a summer in a Miami of yesteryear, when cocaine flowed freely and there was no need to worry about a fentanyl overdose.
Who would have thought that such a tumultuous time would one day be viewed as the good old days of drug addicts and drug cartels?
In this world, Nestor is having problems transporting large amounts of cocaine, and Roman may have a solution.
Is relying on Burton’s solution the best he could come up with? It seems so, and we can’t blame him. Burton is interesting, and while his current resources are extremely limited, he has a lot of connections.
He also owns unused family land and (this part is very helpful) a family that values its privacy more than most overlords.

Roman should ask Burton for help with the cocaine landing, not just from a business perspective but because it’s more fun for us!
Mark Feuerstein has been a favorite of ours for years on USA Network’s Blue Sky show Royal Pain, and now he’s showing us a new side of him that we can’t get enough of. He’s a veritable scene-stealer in “The Cocaine Hotel.”
The same goes for our exclusive clip, with Roman revealing his plight and Burton stepping up to help the drug lord out of his predicament, just as you’re trying to save your beloved seedy hotel and lounge from bankruptcy.
However, while Burton kept the good times rolling, things were not so great between Roman and Nestor.
In Cocaine Hotel Season 1 Episode 7, Congressman Landon is brutally blown to smithereens, Nestor looks guilty, and Roman is killed.
They had a plan, and like the evil villain in superheroes trying to eradicate them, Nestor went his own way, ending a man’s life and taking away a boy’s father.
But Nestor was no devil or villain. He’s nuanced and his humanity makes watching him more compelling than watching someone like Homelander in The Boys.
Still, what Nestor did didn’t sit well with Roman, even if Nestor’s rationale for killing was due to Langdon’s tacit support of Genao and their Castro/Cuban relationship.
Zulio teams up with a corrupt banker to bring Henao and Yolanda back to the negotiating table. Nestor reveals a secret.

I’m not sure Nestor needs to confess, since Roman isn’t an innocent person who turns a blind eye to Nestor’s business. If it were, Roman wouldn’t be severing ties with his brother.
Nonetheless, in this episode of “Cocaine Hotel,” Nestor admits to Roman that his cocaine business is financing his never-ending battle with Castro.
From Roman’s perspective, without the Congressman’s protection, the deal would fall through and their family would be in danger. They’ve been in the line of fire once. Will Langdon’s death spark a larger war?
So Roman turns to his boss for a new landing spot for the cocaine, while Zulio teams up with Henao’s banker Ray Dorado to bring Henao and Yolanda back to the negotiating table.
Roman convinces Nestor to accept a deal with the Colombians in order to save the fragile peace, and even seduces Yolanda into luring her back into the deal.
Don’t be shocked, but this doesn’t sit well with Marisol, and their already rocky relationship may not survive.
Valeria is also in a bad situation now because her boyfriend’s father has just been killed by her uncle. Talk about a Romeo and Juliet situation!
When Roman and Nestor meet with Heno and Yolanda in Rebellion to restore the Accords, they will lose their lead, even if they don’t know this during the meeting.

The Colombians would agree to the deal, but with the caveat that it may be more than Romain and Nestor can afford.
It’s a momentous and exciting event, as revelations lead unsuspecting people out of darkness and into a new world where life or death matters.
As you can imagine, the story unfolds from there.
No one in Roman’s orbit will be the same. Reuniting with his brother reveals some harsh truths, and everyone he loves is in danger.
Behind every dazzling display that keeps plane passengers awake at night, there’s a network working hard to keep the party going. This is just such a story.
