Aside from the wingtips, the Pixel Buds Pro 2 appear to have swapped the black grille of their predecessors for a larger grille that matches the color of the earphones. Android headlines We also obtained images of several colors that look like the Pixel Buds Pro 2: grey, white, green, and pink.
Meanwhile, the case looks essentially the same, with the same egg-shaped shape and LED lights on the front. This could be the speaker that makes sound when using Google’s Find My Device feature, but its purpose remains unclear.
The updated Pixel Buds Pro aren’t the only device to leak ahead of Google’s August 13 hardware event. Earlier today, we saw marketing materials containing possible specs for the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, and Pixel 9 Fold. If Google doesn’t fully reveal its device first, we might see more leaks in the weeks leading up to the event.
