- The newly announced ending theme song “Megane-Go-Round” represents a unique 2.5D collaboration between Ai Mie and Kaede Komura from the 2D world of anime and beloved anime song singer Masayoshi Oishi from our 3D realm. Written and composed by Masayoshi Oishi, “Megane-Go-Round” features the unique voices of Omura-kun and Mie, capturing their innocent chemistry and intimacy. Oishi Masayoshi plays the role of storyteller, creating a dynamic atmosphere like a carousel.
- The special unit showcase video released today features an instrumental version of the song. The full version will be released later, so stay tuned!
- In addition to the above announcement, details of the opening and ending theme song singles have also been released. The opening theme song “NAME” sung by 16-year-old high school singer Tsuzuri will be released in two forms: an animated version decorated with animated artwork and a Tsuzuri limited edition focusing on the artist himself. The ending theme song “Megane-Go-Round” will be released in a first-run limited edition and a standard edition, and will feature Koume Fujiuchi’s original artwork. The first press limited edition includes a special short comic titled “Masayoshi ga Megane wo Wasureta”. Both versions will be released on August 2nd.

I participated in the ending song “Megane-Go-Round” as Kaede Takamura. Working with Mr. Oishi is a dream come true!
When I first heard this demo, I was drawn to the balance between beautiful melodies and a casual sense of everyday life. I find myself listening to it over and over again.
During the recording process, it was very satisfying to work with Mr. Oishi and the music producer to create the vocals for Takamura-kun. I hope you’ll enjoy the song and animation.

From the moment I first listened to the demo, I was fascinated by this song…! The vivid image of Oishi-san supporting Omura-kun and interacting with Mie-san is so beautiful that it makes you want to cry.
I was a little worried before the recording because I didn’t know how to sing Miju-san’s part, but Oishi-san’s praise during the performance boosted my confidence.
