The first chapter of actor-director Kevin Costner’s epic western series Horizon: An American Saga has only been in theaters for a month, but Amazon has already pre-ordered it for its eventual 4K Blu-ray release. You can pre-order Horizon: An American Saga Chapter 1 now for $50.
“Horizon: An American Legend” is a passion project that Costner began working on as early as 1988. Westward expansion. The first chapter of Horizon covers the four years of the Civil War, from 1861 to 1865, but the entire series will eventually span 12 years.

As is often the case, 4K Blu-ray also offers a few other ways to watch the movie. In addition to the 4K version, it includes a regular Blu-ray disc, as well as a code for the digital 4K UHD version, which you can stream from anywhere with a Fandango at Home account. The 4K Blu-ray will cost $50 and will be released on September 10th.
If you prefer a non-4K option, Amazon has several other ways to pre-order movies. Horizon: An American Legend – Chapter 1 is also available on Blu-ray, including DVD and digital code, for $28. Also available digitally, Horizon Chapter 1 is available to watch on Amazon Prime Video now – it costs $20 to rent or $25 to purchase the digital Ultra HD version of the film.
