Movie review:
- JPV852: The movie starts off with elements of mystery, but then something feels off (it turns to mild comedy at times). Ford and Emmanuel Senina are both good, although I wonder if this could have used Brian De Palma’s eyes instead of Polanski’s. **3.25/5**
- kevin2019: Crazy is an engaging, well-made film that easily creates a real sense of mystery and intrigue from the get-go. The entire film is incredibly well made, the opening scene is very entertaining, Roman Polanski is a seasoned director who knows exactly how to create a natural and rhythmic momentum to the proceedings and then successfully Maintain it at a certain level without any evidence of indecision. This allows this wonderful film to effortlessly retain its engaging quality right up to the end, providing a perfect showcase for the romantic city of Paris, even as it also makes you pause to consider visiting there on Valentine’s Day.
