Hello, dear readers, and welcome to the SwitchArcade roundup for June 26, 2024. I do have a little comment about this interesting Roguelite dice man But for you. Again, I would have liked to have had more, but that’s what I did. We then review that new release and include it in our regular list of new and upcoming sales for the day. Let’s dig into what we’ve got!
Comments and mini views
Dice Man ($14.99)
Would adding dice and collecting some creatures be enough to make the game interesting? Slay the Spire/Dark Dungeon Turn-based Roguelite formula? You know, I think so. Anyway, to some extent. Dicefolk has the same basic premise as other such games. You have a mini-map for each stage and choose where to go next, with each location offering combat, shops, or some type of activity. Eventually you’ll have to fight a boss fight, and then you move on to the next map. In this game, your team is a group of monsters, and you will have the opportunity to exchange new monsters everywhere.
When it comes time to fight, things get a little interesting. Each turn, dice are rolled for your team and the opposing team. You don’t move on to the next turn until all of these dice are used up, and most importantly you get to choose the order in which these actions are performed. This… is actually a very clever transformation. As you play, you’ll be able to customize your dice faces with new actions, and the gear and badges you discover will also come into play in combat. It’s a lot of fun, although it does wear out a little faster than some games of this type.
Although the title is dice man You may think that the dice is the most interesting gimmick in this game, but in fact what really stands out is the combat system setting that allows you to control your own and the enemy at the same time. Otherwise, this is a fairly average but well-made example of the genre. If you like turn-based roguelites, you might want to dice man A little bit of your time.

Jump now! ($9.99)
Is this really all we have today? I guess so! This is a platform game with ninety different challenges to complete. This isn’t a standard platformer, despite the fact that you just move left or right and jump. In fact, it’s almost like a series of platforming mini-games. It’s also silly, which adds a bit of charm to the whole thing. Well, this is the only new game today. Do whatever you want with it.
